Files & Additional Media
Understanding the "Files & Additional Media" Page
This page is your client's central file cabinet for the entire inspection. Its primary purpose is to gather every document, lab result, additional photos/videos, and supplemental file into one convenient, easy-to-access location.
The single biggest benefit of this page is that it centralizes all deliverables. Instead of emailing clients and agents multiple, separate files (e.g., the main report, a radon PDF, a mold lab PDF, and the pre-inspection agreement), you can upload them all here.
This creates a massive value-add. Your clients and agents no longer need to search through their email inboxes. They just log into the one portal and have a complete, organized record of the entire service.
Key Sections of This Page
As seen in the example, this page is typically divided into two key areas:
1. Results Files: This is the most important section for your add-on services and official documents. It is the perfect place to upload any supplementary file that is not part of the main inspection report itself.
Common Uploads Include:
Radon test results (PDFs)
Water quality test results (Lab reports)
Mold test results (Lab reports)
Septic inspection reports
Pest inspection reports
Scanned permits or property documents
The signed Pre-Inspection Agreement
2. Property Profile Images: This section is designed for general, non-defect photos that provide a visual overview of the property. This is a great place to put your report cover photo, general exterior views, or any other images that help identify the property but are not related to a specific finding.
By consistently using this "Files & Additional Media" page, you ensure your clients and agents have easy, 24/7 access to all their important documents. This streamlines your communication, reduces follow-up questions (like "Where's the radon report?"), and makes your entire service feel more integrated and professional.
