Full Report

Understanding the “Full Report” Page

The Full Report page is the complete, comprehensive, and final online document you deliver to your clients. It is the "single source of truth" that assembles all other parts of your inspection—the property details, your findings, and system information, into one professional package.

While pages like the "Summary" and "Gallery" focus primarily on defects and other findings, the Full Report provides the complete context. It includes not just the problems, but all the associated data, limitations, and informational content that make your report a complete and defensible document.

How the Full Report Is Built

This page is not a single, static document. Instead, it is a dynamic "container" that you build by arranging various sections in your desired order. A typical Full Report assembles many of the other sections you've seen, such as:

  • Overview: Property and client details, inspection date/time, etc.

  • Findings: The complete, interactive list of all defects, maintenance items, and limitations.

  • System Summaries: The at-a-glance, non-finding details about the property's major systems (e.g., Roof, Plumbing, HVAC).

  • Scope and Limitations: Your legal and professional disclaimers.

  • Service Files & Media: Any additional photos, videos, or attached documents.

  • Your Provider: Your company and inspector contact information.

Your Report, Your Way: The Power of Customization

This page is the most powerful and customizable part of your client portal. You have complete control over its structure, content, and appearance. All of this customization is set up in your master template so that every inspection you publish is perfectly branded and structured.

Here are the key ways you can customize your Full Report:

  • 1. Add Custom Rich Text Sections This is the most-used feature for creating a unique report. You can add "rich text" blocks anywhere in the report to include your company's standard language. This is perfect for:

    • An introductory "How to Read This Report" letter.

    • A "What's Next" section for clients and agents.

    • A "Preferred Vendor" list or disclaimer.

    • Detailed explanations of common issues (e.g., "A Note on GFCI Outlets," "Understanding Federal Pacific Panels").

    • A final "Thank You" message.

  • 2. Freely Add, Remove, and Reorder Sections You are not locked into a single layout. In your master template, you can drag and drop sections to create a flow that makes sense for you.

    • Want the "Summary of Findings" at the very top? You can do that.

    • Want to put your "Scope and Limitations" right after the "Overview"? No problem.

    • Want to remove a section entirely? You have that control.

  • 3. Use Conditional Logic to Display Sections This is an advanced feature that makes your templates incredibly smart. You can set rules to display specific sections only under specific conditions. This ensures the report is perfectly tailored to the job, every single time.

    • Example 1 (Services): Only show the "Pool & Spa Inspection" section if the "Pool & Spa" service was actually part of the order.

    • Example 2 (Components): Only show the "Detached Garage" system summary if the inspector marked that a detached garage was present.

    • Example 3 (Info): Only show the "Radon Information" text block if a radon test was performed.

By combining these customization tools, you can move beyond a simple checklist and deliver a premium, intelligent, and custom-branded report that truly reflects the quality of your company.
