How to Move Systems Between Workspaces

Moving InspectorPrime Systems Between Workspaces

The Airtable article below details the process for migrating your InspectorPrime systems. This action is primarily performed during initial setup to ensure optimal organization.

We recommend configuring separate workspaces to house different system types, such as:

  • Residential Systems

  • Commercial Systems

  • Office Systems

Remember, each workspace can hold a maximum of 500 inspections. For a complete guide on defining these boundaries, please see our Setting Up Your Workspaces article.

Important Workspace Warning: Do Not Move Completed Inspections

Moving a completed and delivered inspection to a different workspace will permanently break the client portal URL. Your clients and agents will lose access to the final report.

Step-by-Step Instructions

This guide provides a step-by-step process for efficiently moving your InspectorPrime systems between workspaces in Airtable.

Step 1: Open the System Menu

Once you have your workspaces created, you'll want to move your InspectorPrime systems into the correct workspaces. To do so, simply hover over the system you want to move and click on the three-dot menu.

Step 2: Select Move

Select Move from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Choose Destination

Choose the workspace you want to move your system into.

Step 4: Confirm Move

Click Move app and repeat as necessary for your other systems.

Step 5: Star the System

Once you've moved your systems into their correct workspaces, we recommend starring and pinning them so they always remain at the top of your workspace for easy duplication. Begin by selecting the star icon while hovering over your chosen system.

Step 6: Navigate to Workspace

Click View workspace.

Step 7: Open Workspace Settings

While inside the workspace, hover over your chosen system and select the three-dot menu again.

Step 8: Pin the System

Select Pin in workspace and repeat as necessary for your other systems.
